Laborare Group Ltd understand the importance of protecting the confidentiality of our clients and candidates. Laborare Group adhere to the following Privacy Statement:

English law and jurisdiction applies with respect to the content of this notice and the information contained. Laborare Group recognise and address our obligations under the provisions of the Data Protection Act (1998) and  the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Laborare Group Limited is the data controller for any personal information you supply to us in relation to enquiries about our products, services and when registering as a client or candidate. 
 

Data Collection

Laborare Group Limited collects information from all users of Laborare Groups Services, whether this is via our website, in person or via email or telephone conversations. Laborare Group Collects data necessary to aid the recruitment process. This includes but is not limited to: name, address, date of birth, career history and expected salary.

Laborare Group never knowingly collate more personal data then is strictly necessary to perform our tasks in providing recruitment services to our candidates and clients.
 

How and When Laborare Group Collect Information

Personal information relating to an individual is collected through professional networking sites, through the use of online Job boards, during candidate registration interviews, following submission of a CV, telephone calls, email correspondence.

Client information is collected during meetings, telephone calls and events Laborare Group attend.

 
How we use your data

Candidates
Candidate data is kept and used under the use of consent and in compliance with principle 1, Article 5 of the GDPR. Laborare Group do not sell or share your personal information to third parties for third party direct marketing purposes.

Laborare Group will use your information to deliver personalised recruitment service and optimise your Laborare Group experience. 

Laborare Group will use information collected to:

  • Enable you to submit your CV for general applications or to apply for specific jobs (see CV for further details)
  • Source and match roles and companies to your requirements
  • Submit your CV and any other relevant information to clients in the process of providing recruitment services
  • Communicate with candidates regarding recruitment services via email, phone or text message.
  • Update candidates on events and announcements which may be of interest in relation to Laborare Group providing current or future work finding services.
  • Maintain our business relationships with you
  • Answer your queries
  • Fulfil contractual obligations with our clients

Curriculum Vitae (CV)
Candidates can forward their CV to our consultants via email.  You can do this either to apply for a specific advertised job or for consideration by our recruitment consultants for positions as they become available. Candidates will be asked to provide consent to allow Laborare Group to process their data.

Once we have received your consent, your CV will be uploaded onto the Laborare Group Candidate Database and a confirmation email will be issued directly (to the email address provided on your CV) to confirm when this has been completed.

Once your CV has been uploaded, the system will generate a candidate profile, within this profile it will track your recruitment journey with Laborare Group. 

Your CV will be accessible to Laborare Group company directors, your designated consultant and their dedicated researcher, all of whom will have access to your full candidate record.

You can update your CV at any time. This can be achieved by sending through an updated version of your CV to our offices. Your old CV will automatically be removed and replaced with the newest version. We will always ask you at the start of any new engagement if you have an updated CV or whether you require any amendments to your profile. 

Clients
Client data is obtained and kept and used under the use of legitimate interest and in compliance with Principle 1 and Article 5 of the GDPR. Laborare Group do not sell or share your information to third parties for third party direct marketing purposes. Data will be collated onto our internal systems and all paper documents will be securely stored on each site. Laborare Group will use information collated to:

- Discuss present and future organisational recruitment requirements
- Allow Laborare Group to compare candidates with organisational vacancy requirements
- Provide candidate CVs and any other relevant candidate information
- Update clients on events and announcements which may be of interest in relation to Laborare group supporting current or future organisational recruitment strategies.
- Manage processes throughout the recruitment cycle including but not limited to; interviews, feedback, offers, salary negotiations.
- Raise invoices for services provided.
- Undertake research and analysis to enhance Laborare Groups services

 
Data Sharing and Disclosure

Except as set out herein and where required or permitted by law or a court of competent jurisdiction, Laborare Group will not reveal any personal data about you to any third parties for marketing purposes or store any of your information outside of the European Economic Area.

Information will be shared internally within your Laborare Group consultant, researcher and company directors to enable the provision of  recruitment services.

Candidates data will only be shared with Laborare Group Clients who have a legitimate interest and only then with the candidates permission.

Your data may be disclosed where necessary to enforce our Terms of Business or if necessary to prevent, detect or prosecute illegal or suspected illegal activities or to prevent other damage in response to a legal action against Laborare Group.

 
Use of Data Processors

Data processors are third parties who provide elements of our recruitment services through the provision of our secure recruitment software and hosting of our database. We maintain processes designed to ensure that any processing of personal data by third party service providers is consistent with this Privacy Notice and protects the confidentiality, availability and integrity of your personal data.

Information retention and deletion


Your information will be stored under legitimate business interest in compliance with Principle 1 and Article 5 of the GDPR. 

Laborare Group will retain your personal details for no longer than necessary.

You can request deletion of your data or remove consent to processing at any stage of our recruitment campaign. If you wish to view a copy of our data retention policy, please email [email protected]


Access to your personal data

You have the right to:

A.      request a copy of the details we hold on you

Laborare Group database complies with GDPR requirements and as such it allows for portability of your data. 

B.      request data corrections of any details we hold on you

At the start of each new engagement our consultants will always check to see if your details are up to date and will amend accordingly. If you have requested a copy of your data and subsequently find errors or inaccuracies, we will rectify these immediately following your request for a data correction.

C.      opt out of all non-essential email communications

Laborare Group will never spam you with emails. We do not operate bulk mailing lists or marketing campaigns to "keep our candidates warm" we operate social networking sites for this purpose. Our email communications are targeted specifically to candidates meeting the criteria for current vacancies.

D.      remove consent of data processing

You may remove your consent to data processing at any time by either talking to your consultant directly or via emailing the group.


E.       be forgotten from our database and systems.

All individuals have a right to be forgotten. In accordance with GDPR legislation the company as one month to action your request. 

To process your request Laborare Group will:

  • Acknowledge receipt of your request
  • Review your candidate record to view where your data has been sent
  • Issue requests to clients to delete the data Laborare Group has shared
  • Remove you from any social or professional networking sites
  • Scan and remove all emails associated with you
  • Delete all data and back up data containing your records from our database. A final communication will be forwarded to you directly from our database to confirm that all your details have been destroyed

Whilst we can guarantee that your data has been deleted from Laborare Group, we cannot 100% guarantee that we will never contact you again and for this we apologise. Should we inadvertently ask to connect with you on professional networking sites, please just ignore our request and accept our apologies. This will only occur because we no longer have an audit trail of previous communication or requests to be forgotten (as we will no longer hold your details). Similarly, if we come across your CV posted on a public site, we cannot guarantee we will remember not to contact you as we will have no record that we have ever dealt with you.

How do we protect your information?

Your personal data security is our highest priority. Laborare Group Limited have taken steps to protect your information by limiting access to our network and locations where your data is stored.

Personal data will be securely stored on site and within our third-party Candidate Database.

Our Email system is encrypted to Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) 256 offering powerful, policy-driven encryption features that mitigate the risks associated with regulatory violations, data loss and corporate policy violations, while positively enabling critical business communications.  It provides protection for sensitive data being transmitted, while still making it readily available to appropriate affiliates, business partners and end users—on their desktops and mobile devices.

Our database cloud platform/software as a service runs on the Amazon AWS infrastructure, a Leader in the
Gartner Magic Quadrant for 7 consecutive years, providing best in class infrastructure availability and security including security certification IOS 27001.  Data is held within the European Union (Dublin Ireland) data centre.

Our team only access data which is required to complete their job functions. Although we have used our best efforts to ensure the security of your data, please be aware that we cannot guarantee the security of data transmitted over the internet, therefore anything you submit via the internet is done so at your own risk.

Changes to this Privacy Notice

Laborare Group Limited reserves the right to modify this Privacy Notice. We will post any changes to our web page. Please check this page regularly to keep up to date.
